Palangka Raya University, Won 2 National Awards in the Assessment of the Main Performance Index of State Universities (IKU PTN)

University of Palangka Raya, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ir. Salampak, M.S, again showed his quality at the National level. The award this time is in terms of performance assessment in terms of growth and achievement of the Main Performance Index of State Universities (IKU PTN). *Palangka Raya University is the only state university in the Kalimantan region that has made achievements in the national arena.

The award was given to Palangka Raya University, during the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Second Quarter Program of Activities and Budgets within the Directorate of Higher Education Research and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, at the J.W Marriot Hotel on July 21, 2023. Palangka Raya University has achieved excellence in KPI 3: Lecturers Engaging in Off-Campus Activities and KPI 7: Collaborative and Participatory Classes. The awarding of IKU PTN achievements is measured by eight Key Performance Indicators determined through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 / M / 2021 concerning IKU PTN and LLDikti. Unlike the previous year, this year’s IKU assessment is very strict, because the assessment of the PTN Satker Academic and PTN Satker Arts categories which were assessed separately last year, are now merged into one assessment category. The final results of the IKU assessment have gone through a fairly rigorous validation and verification process and are submitted through the Director General of PTN 2022 IKU Achievement Awards. BOPTN incentives with a total value of Rp. 347 billion will be given to PTNs based on their respective achievements.

*The Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (DG Diktiristek), Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D., IPU, Asean Eng*. congratulated higher education personnel who had worked hard to achieve IKU. The Director General of Diktiristek said that the increased IKU achievement is a good achievement, and hopes that in the future the IKU achievement can be more evenly distributed.
