Palangka Raya University (UPR) held a “Debriefing and Release of UPR Batch 4 Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) Students” event on Monday, February 27, 2023, located in Room 1, 4th Floor of the Merah Putih Integrated Lecture Building A. The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Head of UPR Merdeka Learning Campus (MBKM), Head of Department and Secretary of Department and UPR students who had passed the selection and were accepted into the MSIB 4 Program. The MSIB Program is part of the MBKM Program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
Academic Vice Rector, Dr. Natalina Asi, in her speech stated that UPR welcomes the MBKM program, including the MSIB program. It is expected that with the MBKM program, there will be a link and match between student competencies and the World of Business and Industry (DUDI). On this occasion, the Academic Vice Chancellor also advised all MSIB class 4 students to maintain the good name of the institution by not committing acts that violate the rules such as bullying, sexual violence and intolerance.
While the Head of MBKM UPR, Dr. Rudi Waluyo, S.T., M.T. explained that in terms of the number of students who passed the selection and were accepted into the MSIB program, UPR was not inferior to other universities, the number of students accepted into MSIB in each batch continued to increase.
UPR MSIB Coordinator, Felicia Sylviana, S.T., M.M. on the occasion of the event reported that UPR since the Odd Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year has participated in the MSIB Program Batch 1 until the Even Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year UPR has participated in MSIB for batch 4. The number of UPR students participating in MSIB for each batch continues to increase. The number of UPR students who passed the selection and were accepted into the MSIB Batch 4 program was 67 people. So that the total number of UPR students who participated in MSIB batch 1 to batch 4 amounted to 188 people.
In the Internship Program from MSIB batch 1 to batch 4, UPR students have been placed in internship locations spread in almost all provinces in Indonesia, namely the provinces of North Sumatra, Riau, Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi.
