Rector of Palangka Raya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salampak, M.S, accompanied by the Head of the Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force of Palangka Raya University (PPKS UPR Task Force) Dr. Kiki Kristanto, S.H., M.H on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 paid a visit to the Palangka Raya District Attorney’s Office. The visit was received directly by the Head of the State Attorney’s Office, Andi Murji Machfud, S.H., M.H accompanied by Kasi Intel Kajari Palangka Raya, Datman Kataren, S.H., M.H.
Rector of Palangka Raya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salampak, M.S said that the visit was carried out in order to stay in touch with the Palangka Raya District Attorney’s Office and later it is hoped that a collaboration will be established in terms of human resource development. As a state university, Palangka Raya University is given the mandate and responsibility in organizing the tridharma of higher education to take part in preparing superior and competitive human resources, producing research that contributes and solves in answering needs in society, while devoting itself to participating in becoming a stronghold of state resilience. The support and togetherness of the Palangka Raya District Attorney’s Office is the key to realizing it. Synergy and collaboration is a necessity, so that it will accelerate the achievements and benefits that can be felt by the community in the world of education. The Chancellor also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the State Attorney’s Office, including the Merdeka Learning Campus program, especially by the academic community of the Faculty of Law.
The Head of the Palangka Raya District Attorney’s Office, Andi Murji Machmud, S.H., M.H on the same occasion gave appreciation to Palangka Raya University, and said that his party was ready to support Palangka Raya University in the form of cooperation. The Head of the Palangka Raya Kajari also said that his party was ready to support and participate in the Teaching Practitioner activities initiated by the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
This productive meeting carried out to equalize the perception of UPR and the Palangka Raya State Attorney’s Office in synergy is very epistemic contribution for lecturers in working on and carrying out the tri dharma of higher education, a number of plans that will become material for cooperation with the head of the Palangka Raya State Attorney’s Office, including related to mentoring in the field of law and filling various academic activities on campus such as public lectures or stadium general, research guidance on law and conducting academic testing for undergraduate students, postgraduate for master and doctoral programs related to law.
In addition, the visit of the UPR Rector also discussed cooperation in the declaration of the integrity zone (ZI) for UPR towards and achieving the title of a corruption-free area and a clean serving bureaucratic area. The program is a government program through relevant ministries that aims to realize the quality of institutions that are free from corruption, collusion and nepotism. Become a state institution running a good bureaucratic system with excellent service. synergy and the role and function of the AGO can provide legal assistance for UPR institutions that require legal assistance. It is hoped that the UPR integrity zone with guidance from the Palangka Raya State Attorney’s Office will later achieve the title of a corruption-free area and a clean serving bureaucratic area, as well as an effort to improve campus quality. So that UPR can be a pioneer in realizing ZI towards WBK / WBBM.
