Supporting the Teaching Practitioner Program UPR Collaborates with PT BGA

Palangka Raya University established a partnership with PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (BGA). This collaboration is one of the efforts in implementing the teaching practitioner program by encouraging increased collaboration between universities and industry.

“The teaching practitioner program aims to bring excellent human resources from industry or the world of work into the classroom. They teach together with lecturers. The hope is that it will improve the competence of graduates according to the qualifications of the world of work,” said Rector of Palangka Raya University (UPR) Prof. Dr. Salampak, MS.

The signing was carried out directly by the Rector of Palangka Raya University, Prof. Dr. IrSalampak MS and Human Capital Group Department of PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, Agus Sutrisno SP MM witnessed by the Chief Operation Officer (COO) of PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, Ir.Mubarak Ahmad and Acting Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance of Palangka Raya University, Drs. Darmae Nasir M.Si.,MA.,PhD, Tuesday (5/20) in Jakarta.

The signing of this collaboration covers education, research, community service, and resource development programs. The scope of this collaboration also includes cooperation to support the Teaching Practitioner Program being run by Palangka Raya University in collaboration with one of the practitioners from PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, namely Tho Zaini, SP, as Estate Performance Improvement and Innovation Chairman.

“Synergy in developing agriculture/plantation-based resources is one of the important priorities. It is hoped that in the future this collaboration can continue and develop other cooperation related to resource development in agriculture and plantations,” said PT BGA Chief Operation Officer (COO), Ir Mubarak Ahmad.
